Mt. Yotei

Mount Yōtei (羊蹄山, Yōteizan) is a volcano located in Shikotsu-Toya National Park, Hokkaidō, Japan. It is also called (Y)ezo Fuji, because it resembles the more famous Mount Fuji. It is one of the 100 famous mountains in Japan.
Yotei is a symmetrical andesitic-to-dacitic stratovolcano located NW of Toya caldera. Its summit is truncated by a 700-m-wide crater that is cut on its NW rim by overlapping smaller craters. Deep radial gullies cut the flanks of Yotei. The latest eruption from Yotei took place about 5000-6000 years ago.
