If you think there’s not much going on in Niseko in March, think again! The International Airline Ski Federation (IASF) have just announced Niseko as the location for this year’s World Airline Ski Championships (WASC).

The annual event will take place March 4-8, and is expected to draw over 600 visitors. The Federation chose Niseko, touting the amazing snow and “world famous powder” that the resort has to offer. Just check out our blog post from the same time last year to see for yourself!
