After coming to sleep on our couch for 3 days and staying 6 weeks; Esser spent this winter free loading, building split boards on our living room floor, practicing his back country steeze, and perfecting his snow-surf-style. On his last day in Niseko for this season we spent a day out in the back country cruising around with Esser (aka. The Original Couch Guy). We had an amazing day of sun and fun turns in some secret stashes of pow.

Esser, Watkin, Oscar and I toured around for the day getting creative with terrain and turns and a bit of ski vs snowboard and skins vs snow shoes.
