The world famous Sapporo Yuki Matsuri is now well under way for the 62nd year. There are still a couple of days left to visit if you have the chance to experience the best of Japan’s snow festivals.

Day-trip tours are available for those staying in the Niseko area and wishing to travel to Sapporo to see the spectacular snow and ice sculptures. Further details can be found below. Here is a news report from the first day of the snow festival:
