My ski senses magically came back to me as a pleasant surprise during this ski trip, so I strung my D700 and 70-200 across my neck for a big part of the day. Insurance on my photography gear goes a long way in doing that! Would probably be wise to wear a helmet thought, I think you would die if you fell and had all that weight smack into your cranium.
